Group Things to do on a Scarborough Holiday

Organising a Scarborough hotel for a group is really good fun. The town has plenty of attractions to keep entire groups entertained. Holidaying in the UK is becoming fashionable as continental Europe falls out of favour with the consumer. This is partly because the weak pound has meant that our money doesn’t go as far as it used to in Europe, so people are opting to stay in England.

A Scarborough holiday offers a range of accommodation options for groups. One popular choice is using one of the various camp sites or caravan parks in the town. But there are also plenty of reasonably priced hotels available. Should they wish, groups can choose a relaxing break in a spa hotel. For other groups, there are self catered apartments for rent.

You might be expecting a Scarborough holiday to be a traditional, if a little tacky, time, but that isn’t the case. Whilst there are plenty of the traditional seaside attractions like fair grounds and arcades, there’s a lot more to do in a group in the town. The vast array of bars, nightclubs and eateries mean that you’ll never be stuck for something to do in the evening.

During the day, there is the beautiful beach, which is surely the reason you opted for a Scarborough holiday in the first place. You can even have surfing lessons! For those who fancy getting away from the beach for a while there are plenty of scenic routes to follow in beautiful Raincliffe Woods.

For the days where the weather doesn’t co-operate, there are plenty of ways to enjoy yourself indoors. One favourite is the sealife centre. You’ll also find more art galleries and museums around Scarborough than you can shake a stick at.

For groups wishing to enjoy a classic British seaside holiday with a modern twist, there’s nothing better than a Scarborough holiday.
