Seeing the Country on England Tours

England is an obligatory part of any European travel experience. For the Americans, Canadians and Australians that flock to visit Europe every year, seeing London is as important as seeing Paris or Rome. So what about taking England tours and getting to see the whole of England? After all it’s relatively easy to see a good amount of England because of its small size. And there’s much more to the country than London.

England tours take in the variety, diversity, history and culture of the country, allowing those people who don’t know the country to see the best bits. There are of course various tours available, but they are increasingly targeted towards young travellers and gap year students rather than the stereotypical middle aged touring holidaymaker.
For the younger traveller there are plenty of England tours on the market, with varying durations and taking in various sights. The right tour depends on the individual’s interests. For example, history enthusiasts may wish to take in sights like Stonehenge or the many historical cathedrals in the country.

England tours can also be arranged to visit the major cities of the country. Some tours are even dedicated to England’s sporting cities and visit some very impressive football grounds.

England tours by coach are no longer associated only with middle aged holidaymakers. They might still be using coaches, but these are tours geared towards the younger traveller. Touring in small groups is ideal because it allows for the flexibility of requesting additional time or stops without losing the group feel. England tours are a great idea for those people who have not had a chance to familiarise themselves with the country and who wish to see a little more than they might with a travel guidebook. Native tour guides are also useful sources of information on the things that must be seen, tasted or tried.
